No. The NPC previously granted accreditation to institutional training providers, but this program has been discontinued under the current administration. We now provide Data Privacy training aligned with NPC guidelines.

 

2.  Is the DPO ID you issue recognized by NPC?

 

Our DPO ID is an internal credential indicating training completion. NPC does not recognize or issue DPO IDs from external providers. The only official acknowledgement of a DPO occurs when an organization registers its DPO directly with NPC through their official system.

 

3.  Do I need your certificate or ID for NPC DPO registration?

 

NPC does not require any specific external training certificate for DPO registration. However, our training provides the knowledge and competencies needed to effectively perform the DPO role and manage compliance within your organization.

NPC does not endorse or approve private training providers. Our training is independently conducted and aligned with NPC regulations, but not sanctioned, certified, or endorsed by NPC.

 

6.  Who is qualified to become a DPO?

 

NPC allows organizations to appoint a DPO who:

    •    understands data privacy principles

    •    can implement compliance frameworks

    •    can handle data protection concerns

    •    may be internal or outsourced

 

Our training equips participants with those competencies.

7.  Can multiple DPOs serve in one organization?

 

An organization must appoint one official DPO for NPC registration, but may have:

    •    compliance teams

    •    deputies

    •    privacy officers

    •    data security personnel
